The Pregnancy
We were so excited when we found out we about the pregnancy last October! It took us some time to get there, but
when the doctor confirmed it we were estatic. We really enjoyed being pregnant and continued to travel and enjoy
our time with the two of us. We did not know if we were having a boy or a girl, word on the street was that it was
going to be boy.
The Labor
Well, I've had contractions for over a month in some form or fashion. The due date was June 17, the baby loved the
cozy environment we had created. My contractions began at 10:00 PM on June 19. We called Dr. Hart at 11:30 and
decided to head in around 12:45 AM. I was in a lot of pain. The night shift nurse thought I was just a little sick?
Well, 12 hours and an epidural later our bundle of joy was born! Only took 45 minutes of pushing once that started.
What's in a Name?
Elsa is one of those names we know will last the test of time from kindergarten through college and beyond. Lucille
comes from Barrett's grandma..
Our Baby
Elsa is such a beautiful baby girl! She has brought nothing but joy to our lives. We have caught up on all our sleep
over the past month and can not wait to make her a part of our daily lives. Elsa is truly a miracle for the both of us and
we are greatful to Dr. Hart and to each other for the work we put in to get here!
